Scholarly search engine comparison

A recent comparison of scholarly search engines conducted by Jeroen Bosman, a thought leader in open science and librarian at Utrecht University, shows how the Lens compares to other scholarly search engines across a number of categories.

The comparison covers a number of common scholarly search features including best practise filter options as well as openness and governance of the organisation. Lens has a very strong showing across many of the categories compared, often edging out much larger commercial offerings.
